Location: Bayford Primary School, Hertfordshire
Hours:
* Breakfast Club: 7:30 AM – 8:50 AM (Monday–Friday)
* After School Club: 3:15 PM – 5:15 PM (Monday–Friday)
* Planning Time: 3 hours per week (paid)
* Optional: 1 morning per week of PE teaching (additional hours & pay)
Pay: £13.50 per hour (wraparound care) | £10 per hour (planning)
About the Role
Foundation Sports & Play is excited to be recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Manager to lead our Breakfast Club and After School Club provision at Bayford Primary School.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised, creative, and passionate about working with children. You will play a key role in delivering fun, engaging, and safe activities that give children the best possible start and end to their school day.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the day-to-day running of both Breakfast Club and After School Club.
* Plan and deliver a wide range of age-appropriate activities, including arts & crafts, games, sports, and free play.
* Provide a welcoming, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels supported.
* Oversee snack provision and mealtime routines, ensuring a safe and positive atmosphere.
* Supervise and support Play Workers to maintain high standards of childcare.
* Liaise with parents, carers, and school staff to ensure strong communication and relationships.
* Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and behaviour management policies are followed.
* Complete registers, planning records, and any required administration.
What We're Looking For
* Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or playwork setting (essential).
* Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to plan engaging sessions.
* A warm, approachable personality with great communication skills.
* A passion for creating safe, fun, and stimulating environments for children.
* Relevant childcare, playwork, or teaching qualification desirable (but not essential).
* An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
