A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FRONT DESK AGENT AT THE WESTIN LONDON CITY
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Front of House Manager, your day will include:
* Processing guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing/activating room keys.
* Handling all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
* Managing check-outs, including resolving late and disputed charges.
* Coordinating with Housekeeping to track room readiness for check-in.
* Running daily reports (arrivals, departures), noting special requests, and verifying report accuracy.
* Completing cashier and closing reports in the system.
* Balancing and dropping receipts according to accounting standards.
