Day Shifts (Earlies and Lates)

* Demonstrates the skill of delivering care as prescribed in care plans for a group of residents under the guidance of senior staff.
* Provides comprehensive verbal and written reports on residents' progress during shifts.
* Ensures hydration and nutrition are maintained, understanding their importance.
* Follows infection control principles and Foxburrow Grange policies.
* Adheres to falls prevention principles.
* Participates actively in life story work, understanding its principles and outcomes.
* Contributes to developing an activity-based home culture.
* Creates meaningful connections during routine interventions, aiming for about 30 seconds each.
* Sees the person behind the illness in every care opportunity.

The Service

St George's Nursing Home in Witham provides residential and nursing care, specializing in high dependency, intermediate, palliative, and end-of-life care. Our philosophy emphasizes a relaxed, comfortable home where residents' needs, well-being, and choices are prioritized.
