Key Responsibilities of a Locum Family Solicitor:
* Managing a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, cohabitation disputes, and private children matters.
* Advising high-net-worth clients on sensitive and complex family law issues with discretion and professionalism.
* Drafting key legal documents including consent orders, financial remedy applications, parenting agreements, and statements.
* Representing clients in court hearings and during negotiations or mediation where necessary.
* Liaising with Counsel, experts, and third parties to progress cases effectively and efficiently.
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards at all times.
* Providing support to other fee earners in the family law team where required.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 5 years PQE, with a strong background in family law.
* Proven track record in handling complex divorce and financial remedy cases.
* Experience working with high-profile or high-net-worth clients.
* Ability to manage a varied caseload independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong advocacy, negotiation, and client-care skills.
