Job Description
The group is responsible for delivering Algorithmic Trading, Liquidity and Analytics products to J.P. Morgan clients. As an individual contributor within the team.
Job summary:
As a Executive Director within Equities Execution Services, Electronic Trading Solutions team you will be responsible for in-depth analysis on execution performance and market microstructure as we continue to build out and enhance our Electronic Trading product offering.
Job Responsibilities
* Executing signal development across multiple time horizons to improve electronic trading outcomes.
* In-depth market analysis and quantitative research to derive additional improvements to our electronic platform.
* Interacting with clients to optimize their specific performance outcomes.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* You have over 10 years of experience in Algorithmic or Quantitative Trading.
* You have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or another related field of study
* You are highly motivated individual with a history of success within a trading environment
* You have excellent technical and statistical skills
* You demonstrate proficiency with one or more programming languages (Python, q/KDB, SQL). Confident in dealing with large tick/trade datasets
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* A client-facing personality with strong communication skills.
* Understanding of European equities market structure / market microstructure
* You have data sciences background
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
