We are recruiting for a Food Services Assistant in our Food Services and Catering department. This role plays a central part in shaping the student experience. What You Will Do
* Assist the Senior Chef Manager with the efficient operation of the catering service, adhering to service standards and financial regulations.
* Ensure prompt and efficient customer service, consistently exceeding expectations.
* Assist in training and supervising catering staff and student casuals.
* Deputise for the Senior Chef Manager in their absence.
* Maintain a helpful attitude to customers, acquire knowledge of food items, and keep service areas clean and stocked.
* Support the operation of bars and catering for events and functions.
* Carry out clerical activities, maintain records, complete daily paperwork, and update computer systems according to financial procedures.
* Operate the EPOS till system.
About You

* Ability to accept criticism and work under pressure.
* Hold or be willing to obtain a Level Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Good knowledge of food production methods.
