Lifeways is seeking a Care Team Leader to work alongside our Service Manager in the leadership and daily management of our established Supported Living Services in Doncaster. Applicants with experience as Care Team Leaders or Senior Support Workers holding an NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) are preferred. However, dedicated Care Assistants or Carers with a strong track record and ambition to progress will also be considered. Lifeways provides excellent training and development opportunities.
As a Team Leader, you will lead and motivate a team of support workers, ensuring delivery of excellent person-centered care to enable individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives.
Your responsibilities include recruiting, supervising, and developing staff, conducting interviews, and providing guidance. Effective communication skills with staff, clients, and professionals are essential, along with good written communication and IT skills for record-keeping.
Our Supported Living services in Doncaster support adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, or mental health conditions.
