My client is seeking a Mobile M&E Engineer to join their team in Isleworth on a permanent basis. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and benefits package: £42k + Van + Fuel card.
General Overview:
The role involves working as a Mechanical Engineer to perform reactive and planned maintenance, including minor works and lifecycle replacements. The focus is on maintaining HVAC systems, managing the site's BMS, and overseeing the daily operation of cooling towers.
Responsibilities:
* Desirable to have an NVQ (or equivalent) in electrical and mechanical engineering.
* Complete reactive tasks across sites and proactively identify areas for improvement.
* Ensure availability of consumables for maintenance and reactive works, providing parts lists and estimated timescales for remedial tasks.
* Complete all relevant paperwork/CAFM related to planned and reactive activities promptly and pass to the contract administrator.
* Prepare and utilize Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices.
* Develop good working relationships with staff, subcontractors, and client representatives.
* Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, including wearing uniform and PPE.
* Keep plant rooms clean and tidy.
* Supervise and monitor subcontractors during electrical and FM-related tasks.
* Arrange and provide cover for holidays and sickness at short notice; be flexible with working patterns.
* Undertake lone working when required, following appropriate training.
* Complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.
* Comply with contractual KPIs/SLA's.
* Keep CAFM system up to date, ensuring PPM and reactive tickets are closed with accurate data.
* Perform any other tasks as directed by the account management team.
* Provide support during emergencies to ensure business continuity.
* Respond promptly to verbal and written requests.
* Prepare information for quotations.
* Support the Helpdesk with reporting and updating planned and reactive activities.
* Be available for out-of-hours call-out support if needed.
* Gain necessary technical appointments, e.g., LVCP and Water Hygiene CP, for activities like lamp changing and L8 tasks.
* Produce condition/dilapidation reports for fabric assets.
* Immediately inform the supervisor if dangerous conditions occur.
