KBM’s newest client based in Hamilton are looking to welcome a Tax Assistant to their rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Making Tax Digital and Self-Assessment Tax, as well as the ability to analyse financial data accurately.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns for individuals and businesses.
* Analyse financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in reporting.
* Utilise accounting software for efficient tax processing.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
* Liaise with clients on a regular basis.
Skills and Experience
* Previous accountancy office experience essential.
* Proficiency in accounting software, particularly IRIS, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Ability to manage a varied workload.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced.
