Hays are partnering with a local charity to recruit for a Corporate Fundraising Coordinator to support and coordinate the Corporate Fundraising Team's activities to maximise funds and assist engaging corporate supporters and generating with ie through various activities.
Your new role
1. Assist and coordinate corporate fundraising activities, including designing fundraising packs, presentations, advice, and PR materials.
2. Manage social media fundraising activities and update website content.
3. Develop relationships and ie streams from schools, follow up on subscriptions, and support corporate partners sponsoring school programs.
4. Promote and coordinate the "Donations in lieu" campaign for events like weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and memorials.
5. Attend fundraising and corporate events, acknowledge donors, receive donations, and occasionally speak publicly.
6. Research and assist in developing new fundraising activities and leads.
7. Plan and organise established fundraising campaigns.
8. Perform admin duties related to fundraising, including managing mailing lists.
9. Create social media posts for fundraising events and activities.
10. Provide excellent client support to corporate and individual fundraisers.
11. Attend donation presentations and promote the charity's work following brand guidelines.
What you'll need to succeed
Essential
12. Third level qualification in business, hospitality, fundraising, marketing or sales or alternatively 2 years’ experience working in a marketing, sales or fundraising role.
13. Excellent organisational skills.
14. Proven team player.
15. Prepared to work flexible hours at events throughout the year.
16. First classmunication and interpersonal skills including experience of interacting with people at all levels, and the ability to speak in public.
17. Proven ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to deadlines.
18. The ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout Northern Ireland, a current full driving licence, business insurance and access to a car or some other form of transport to allow the post holder to carry out the duties of the post in full.
Desirable Requirements
19. Experience working in a Fundraising or Events role
20. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in one of the following work environments - Fundraising, Business, Events, Social Media/ PR/Marketing.
21. Customer/Relationship/Account Management experience
22. Experience in designing promotional materials eg leaflets, posters.
