Territory Manager - Scotland & NE England
Location: Field-based - NE England
Hours and working Pattern: 37.5 hours – Monday to Friday
Salary: OTE up to £48,000

Overview of the Role:
The Territory Manager will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of Evac+Chair International’s strategic sales and marketing plans. The role will require 50% selling time derived from leads generated via central marketing activity (this may include supporting National/FM customers via the National Account Manager) and 50% of selling time from leads derived by via self-generated activity to new/new customers and upsell/cross sell to existing customers within the territory. Knowledge within the Health and Safety and Fire Safety field would be highly desirable. Must have a full and clean driving licence and be able to travel long distances sometimes involving staying away from home.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Developing territory business plans that will grow the business.
• Developing sales and business development strategies
• Developing and maintaining customer relationships
• Generating and following up quotations and reports
• Communicating new product developments to prospective and existing customers
• Monitoring and analysing market trends to identify new opportunities
• Assess sales performance according to KPI’s.
• Participate in Industry or promotional events (e.g trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships.
What you will need to succeed:
• Previous sales experience is essential, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance metrics
• Strong negotiation skills
• Be able to close deals and overcome objections.
• Similar role in the same market would be desirable but not essential.
• A good standard of written English and Maths is essential.
• Strong knowledge of IT and the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential.
• Experienced in using CRM systems.
• Any previous training/presenting skills would be desirable
