The Boaters Inn is a beautiful riverside pub located in the heart of Canbury Gardens in Kingston. With a warm and vibrant atmosphere throughout the business we pride ourselves on delivering great service and fantastic food weather that be from our garden BBQ, bar or a la Carte menu.
We are inviting driven and committed chefs with a passion for seasonal cooking to join our team! We are recruiting for both Chef de Partie and junior sous level chefs.
The successful applicant will
-Previous experience in a similar environment and be enthusiastic about working in a busy kitchen with extremely high standards for quality and freshness of produce.
-Take responsibility for their section in the kitchen.
- Have the opportunity to contribute towards menu ideas and development.
- Be able to train and enhance their own skills to push onto more senior roles within the business.
Work patterns vary from lunch shifts to evening shifts with the occasional double. Weekends are a must. General weeks consist of 48 hours. There are good transport links to the pub with Kingston station a short walk away and a main bus hub located there as well. To begin work with us you will need right to work in the UK, your own bank account, a valid national insurance number and current photographic ID.
