~ Check your local transport links here: As a Chef at Sodexo in Priory Hospital Chelmsford, Stump Lane, Springfield Green, Chelmsford CM1 7SJ, you'll play a vital role in preparing high-quality meals that support patient wellbeing and enhance the overall dining experience. You'll be responsible for managing your own section of the kitchen, ensuring every dish meets our high standards. Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and quality standards
Contribute to menu planning and recipe development
Support, guide, and train junior chefs and kitchen staff
Ensure full compliance with health and safety, hygiene, cleanliness, COSHH, and fire safety regulations
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) and at least 2 years' experience as a chef
Ability to perform well under pressure in a busy kitchen
