This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher and leader to shape the future of Music at Bishop Ramsey. The successful candidate will lead the department's curriculum and extra-curricular programme, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and musical engagement across the school.
Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and management of the Music Department
* Ensure outstanding teaching and learning across Key Stages 3-5
* Lead curriculum development and raise student achievement in Music
* Manage and support music teaching staff and peripatetic teachers
* Lead and develop the school's extra-curricular music programme including concerts and performances
* Promote Music as a central part of the cultural life of the school
Qualifications
* Is an excellent classroom practitioner with a passion for Music education
* Has the ability to inspire students and staff alike
* Demonstrates strong leadership and organisational skills
* Has experience of contributing to or leading extra-curricular music activities
* Is committed to the values and ethos of a Church of England school
