Key Responsibilities
* Client Delivery & Project Management – deliver engagements, manage stakeholders, deliver multiple audits, controls, GRC, SOX, risk & control automation, performance improvement.
* Technical Expertise – assist clients with implementing/assessing risk and control frameworks, perform internal audit work, draft improvement‑focused recommendations.
* Quality & Risk Management – monitor engagement quality, comply with EY’s quality & risk processes, identify & manage risks.
* Stakeholder Management – develop relationships with client personnel, lead client and internal meetings, collaborate across EY service lines.
* Team Leadership & Development – coach junior team members, maintain communication, update senior team.
* Promote EY Values – champion integrity, respect & teamwork, foster inclusive environment.
* Practice Development – contribute to practice initiatives.
Day‑to‑Day Tasks
* Scope and plan controls & internal audit engagements.
* Develop risk & control matrices, test plans and document test results.
* Assist clients with implementing/assessing risk frameworks.
* Produce process documentation, identify risks, evaluate control effectiveness.
* Prepare high‑quality written client deliverables.
Skills & Experience
* Core business understanding – knowledge of risks and controls in core processes.
* Analytical skills – analyse complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
* Task management – prioritise multiple tasks and client demands.
* Team collaboration – work independently and in a fast‑paced environment.
* Technology utilisation – leverage data analytics, automation, continuous auditing, AI integration; familiarity with Tableau or PowerBI desirable.
* Stakeholder management – strong communication skills.
* Adaptability – respond to feedback, maintain flexibility.
* Proactive mindset – self‑starter with continuous learning drive.
* Navigating ambiguity – handle uncertainty and unclear situations.
* Client commitment – deliver exceptional service and personal responsibility.
* Technical proficiency – Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
* Desirable: finance transformation, controls automation, programme assurance, IT controls experience (SAP, Oracle).
Qualifications
* Significant professional experience in risk, processes & controls; ERP experience (e.g., SAP S4) desirable.
* Completed or part‑completed a relevant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA or equivalent).
* Security clearance for governmental programmes desirable.
* Travel may be required.
