The Leicestershire College is seeking an experienced Governance and Contracts Manager to lead a small team, reporting to the Director of Governance & Legal Services.
The post holder will manage the tracking, monitoring, and compliance of all college contracted provisions, including subcontracting-in, subcontracting-out, and all commercial, HE, International, and Apprenticeship contracts.
Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee the newly merged team handling complaints, appeals, and data protection issues, supporting the College’s governance functions.
Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership skills, be target-driven, and self-motivated. A thorough knowledge of operational and legal contracting activities is essential, as the role involves interpreting complex data and problem-solving daily. Experience with Further Education subcontracting rules will be advantageous.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
