This role offers a generous remuneration package ranging from £40,000 to £70,000 per annum, tailored to reflect your qualifications and experience.
This role promises a varied workload, including consulting, hospital rotations, and surgical duties. With an average 40-hour week and the flexibility to choose between a 4 or 5-day schedule, the practice respects the need for personal time and work life balance. Out of hours commitments are kept to a maximum of five (Quiet) night shifts per month and 1 in 4 Saturday's only, ensuring ample time for relaxation and pursuits outside of work.
The practice prides itself on exceptional veterinary care, supported by a large team of 11 vets and 14 nurses. As an approved RCVS Graduate Development Practice with a trained Vet GDP adviser, the practice is committed to nurturing talent and continuous learning and development.
The ideal candidate will bring 2-3 years of experience, a collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach to veterinary care. You should have excellent communication skills and be confident discussing treatment plans with clients and the out-of-hours team, and be passionate about being part of a truly independent practice and all that brings to the team and clients.
Situated in the picturesque county of Oxfordshire, a mere 30 minutes by train from London, the practice offers a stimulating environment with state-of-the-art facilities, including ultrasound, endoscopy, and laser therapy. With plans to expand into a purpose-built hospital, the practice is on an exciting growth trajectory.
