Little St Johns Surgery are looking for a care navigator to join our reception team in Woodbridge. You will need to be flexible, highly motivated and friendly with an excellent eye for detail.
Part‑time: 22 hours a week. Schedule: Monday 13:00 to 19:00, Tuesday 08:00 to 13:00, Thursday 13:00 to 19:00, Friday 08:00 to 13:00. Occasional Saturday mornings and cover for holidays and sickness as required.

Main duties of the job
* Handling all telephone and general enquiries in a professional manner, referring urgent calls to clinical staff.
* Making appointments for patients in accordance with practice protocols.
* Ensuring that messages and requests for visits are recorded and that the appropriate doctor or team members receive them.
* Ensuring that new patients complete registration forms.
* Photocopying and/or laminating any posters, forms or leaflets when needed.
* Processing all post and electronic communications on the day they arrive.
* Managing the uploading and downloading of temporary resident forms.
* Managing the waiting list for 24‑hour blood pressure monitoring and 24‑hour ECGs.

Person Specification
* Ability to work in a polite, confidential and discreet manner, respecting patients and colleagues at all times.
* Experience of working with the general public, being sensitive and empathic in distressing situations.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Strong IT and administration skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Previous medical or healthcare receptionist experience is desirable.
