Job Title: Fettler & Finisher

07.00 - 16.00 Monday - Thursday
07.00 - 12.00 Friday
As part of our Fabrication & Finishing team, you’ll play a hands‑on role in preparing and finishing high‑quality manufactured components. Working closely with the Team Leader, you’ll help ensure every item meets our quality standards through careful fettling, polishing, and finishing. This is a great opportunity for someone energetic, practical, and eager to learn within a busy manufacturing environment. You will need a good level of fitness and be prepared to work in confined spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fettling and deburring of stainless steel and mild steel items.
* Cabinet and booth bead blasting of stainless-steel items.
* Prepare, pre-polish stainless steel items ready for finish polishing.
* Use of handheld equipment as applicable in the execution of tasks.
* Work to written manufacturing instructions.
* Maintain a good safe working environment as appropriate for the execution of tasks.
* Use of power tools and various equipment.
* Provide support and assistance to other areas of the business as requested from time to time.
Skills & Experience:
* Experience in a workshop or production environment is helpful but not essential.
* Familiarity with jib cranes, overhead cranes, or forklift trucks is an advantage training can be provided.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high‑quality work.
* Physically fit and comfortable working in confined spaces when needed.
* A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well as part of a team.
