GMP Recruitment is proud to be in partnership with a well‑known, market‑leading company who are specialists in ventilation, weather protection and performance improvement located in the Herefordshire area. We are currently recruiting on their behalf for a Field Service Technician to join their team on a full‑time, permanent basis.
This position is working Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week and is offering a starting salary up to £32 K, which is dependent on experience.
As a Field Service Technician you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
 * Oversee the installation of our client’s products on agricultural and industrial sites, ensuring all work is completed correctly, safely, and to the customer’s satisfaction.
 * Provide supervision and leadership to other members of the installation team or the customer’s on‑site labour.
 * Offer support and training to our client’s network of dealers and distributors.
 * Assist with research and development projects as needed, including product testing and providing practical feedback on new developments.
 * Maintain company vehicles in a clean, organized, and roadworthy condition.
 * Complete all job‑related documentation, including timesheets, site diaries, reports, and completion certificates, in accordance with company procedures.
 * Adhere to and enforce both company and customer health and safety procedures throughout the installation process.
Qualifications
 * Strong mechanical background.
 * Basic electrical/electronic knowledge is desirable; training can be provided.
 * Comfortable working at height using powered access equipment and static towers.
 * Possession of up‑to‑date IPAF, PASMA & CSCS cards is an advantage; courses will be provided when required.
 * Travel throughout the UK, Ireland, Europe and the rest of the world is a prerequisite.
 * Long periods away from home may be required.
 * A full UK driving licence is essential.
 * Valid passport for worldwide travel.
