Position: IT Service Manager
Location: Central London (2 days per week)
Day Rate: £600 to £700 per day inside IR35
DV Clearance Required
We are seeking an experienced IT Service Manager to support a long‑term critical public sector programme within a secure environment. The successful candidate will hold active UKSV DV clearance and bring strong experience delivering and managing IT services across complex stakeholder landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage IT service delivery in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs
* Own and continuously improve ITSM processes, aligned to ITIL best practice
* Act as the primary interface between technical teams, end users, and senior stakeholders
* Manage incident, problem, change, and service transition activities
* Support service governance, reporting, and continual service improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience
* Active UKSV Developed Vetting (DV) clearance
* Proven experience working within the UK public sector, ideally on secure or defence programmes
* Strong background in IT Service Management (ITSM)
* Solid working knowledge of ITIL (certification preferred)
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Desirable
* Experience operating within large, complex or multi‑supplier environments
* Background in defence, security, or central government organisations
