 
        Insurance Officer - Enfield £25.00 ph Hybrid – 2 days in office, 3 days work from home Full time Main Responsibilities Investigate insurance claims from first notification to settlement, including site visits. Negotiate property and liability claims within the organisation's handling arrangements. Support management of the organisation's £1.5 billion property insurance portfolio. Assist in identifying and mitigating insurable risks across departments. Liaise with insurers, solicitors, loss adjusters, and internal teams. Prepare reports, returns, and evidence for insurers and courts. Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and Council policies. Essential Skills & Experience Non-life insurance experience (public or private sector) covering motor, public liability, employers' liability, and property insurance claims. Claims negotiation and settlement expertise. Knowledge of insurance policy cover and liability. Strong communication skills (telephone and face-to-face). Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to analyse data and present well-reasoned conclusions.
