Bank Nurse at Hillside Lodge
Salary: £24.32 per hour
Hours: Bank - Zero hours
Shift Times: As/when needed in the service, 12hr shifts (07:45-20:15 or 20:00-08:00)
Hillside Lodge is a modern purpose-designed 60-bed care home situated in the West Sussex village of Pulborough. The service provides 24-hour nursing care to support residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs.

Job Responsibilities
* Assess patients’ health and care needs and develop care plans
* Administer medication and monitor service users’ response
* Provide nursing care, including wound care and palliative care
* Liaise with other healthcare professionals to coordinate personalised care
* Support service users with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
* Provide emotional support to service users and their families
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
* Work within the Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines to ensure high standards of care
* Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
* Participate in the induction and ongoing training of new staff members
Qualifications and Experience
* NMC Registered Nurse
* Experience working in elderly care, including caring for patients with Alzheimer's and other dementia-related conditions
* Knowledge of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Ability to work independently and use own initiative
* Commitment to continuing professional development
