Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is looking for a meticulous Bookkeeper to join a growing team in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven accounting experience who thrives on accuracy, organisation, and delivering results.
What You’ll Do

Keep the books balanced: payments, invoices, receipts, and reconciliations
*
Manage accounts payable and supplier payments
*
Prepare monthly reports (P&L, balance sheets)
*
Handle VAT returns and month‑end processes
*
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and balance sheet reconciliations
*
Support annual accounts prep and ad‑hoc finance projects
What We’re Looking For
*
Proven bookkeeping/accounting experience
*
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
*
Confident with accounting software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or similar)
*
Strong grasp of accounting principles
*
Organised, independent, and deadline‑driven
