About the Role
This is a hands-on, service-led Food & Beverage Assistant Manager position supporting the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will lead by example, supervising front-of-house service, coordinating restaurant logistics, and ensuring the highest standards of guest experience across restaurant, bar, and event spaces.
Key Food & Beverage Assistant Manager Responsibilities
* Support daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
* Supervise and motivate front-of-house teams, leading with energy and professionalism
* Assist with staff scheduling, shift planning, and rota management
* Conduct team briefings and uphold service standards across all F&B functions
* Assist with the coordination and delivery of events, conferences, and private functions
* Act as a key contact for event clients, ensuring all requirements are executed flawlessly
What We’re Looking For
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a restaurant or hotel F&B leadership role
* Strong understanding of cost control and labour management
* A confident, visible leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
* Passion for high-end service and creating memorable guest experiences
* Experience in events and banqueting is a strong advantage
