THE EMPLOYER IS: CREWE UNITED FOOTBALL & SOCIAL CLUBTo support the club’s commercial growth and community impact by assisting with day to day marketing, social media, sponsorship and sales activity.The role will help promote fixtures and events, grow facility hire, strengthen relationships with local businesses and partners, and enhance the club’s brand across all channels.
Responsibilities
* Create and schedule social media content, including matchday posts, updates, and sponsor features.
* Support website/news updates and produce basic graphics and promotional materials.
* Maintain posting calendars and respond to messages professionally.
* Draft newsletters and community updates; keep contact lists organised.
* Ensure all content aligns with club branding.
* Assist with preparing sponsor packs, proposals, and promotional materials.
* Track leads, support meetings, and help maintain sponsorship records.
* Deliver sponsor benefits and assist with matchday revenue tasks.
* Respond to facility hire enquiries and help coordinate bookings.
* Gather user feedback and suggest improvements.
* Promote community programmes, camps, and events.
Skills and Qualifications
* Willingness to learn.
* Strong written communication and attention to detail.
* Confidence using social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter; TikTok desirable).
* Good organisational skills including timekeeping.
* Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends.
* Sales pipeline support and sponsor relationship management.
* Customer service with community groups, parents, and local businesses.
* Interest in sport, community projects, or non profit marketing.
* Basic design/video skills (e.g., Canva, CapCut) - training can be provided.
* Experience with email tools (e.g., Mailchimp) or website updates (e.g., WordPress).
* Driving licence/access to transport.
