Northumberland (CA8 7PB)
3 AA Rosettes | Michelin Guide Listed | 5 Silver Star AA Inn
£32,000–£34,000 per annum + Tronc (circa £3,000)
4 Days per Week | Live-In Available (£200 pcm)

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Chef de Partie to join a 3 AA Rosette, Michelin Guide-listed country inn set within the Northumberland moorlands.

This is a serious, produce-led kitchen with a strong sustainability ethos and a deep connection to its landscape. The menu is shaped by the seasons and built around wild game, pasture-bred livestock from neighbouring farms, Northumberland coastal fish, and classical technique with minimal intervention.

Whole-animal butchery, preservation methods such as pickling and fermentation, and careful larder management form the backbone of the kitchen’s philosophy.

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you will:

* Run your own section within a Rosette-level brigade

* Execute dishes across tasting and à la carte menus to exacting standards

* Work with whole animals and seasonal produce

* Maintain meticulous mise en place and organisation

* Contribute to menu development and seasonal progression

* Uphold strict food safety and sustainability practices

Working Pattern

* 4 days per week

* 48 hours contracted

* Mondays & Tuesdays off

* One additional weekday off

Kitchen open:

* Dinner Wednesday

* Lunch & Dinner Thursday–Sunday

About You

* Experience in a Rosette or high-quality fresh-food kitchen

* Strong classical grounding and technical confidence

* Passion for provenance, sustainability and flavour-led cooking

* Organised, calm and disciplined during service

* Committed to developing within a serious culinary environment

* £32,000–£34,000 per annum

* Tronc circa £3,000 per year

* Live-in accommodation available at £200 per month
