We are looking for someone to support the delivery of Sandwell Borough’s Parking Enforcement, Processing and Appeals Service and support management through appropriate co-ordination, processing and submitting appeals post enforcement. To effectively and efficiently administrate a customer focused service to meet the Council’s obligations of Civil Parking Enforcement in accordance with Traffic Management Act 2004, General Regulations & Representations and Appeals Regulation 2007, Transport Act 2000. To liaise with Traffic Enforcement Centre, County Courts and Traffic Penalty Tribunal. We are looking for someone with: Experience of providing technical support in specialist areas within the service e.g Traffic Management Act 2004, General Regulations & Representations and Appeals Regulation 2007, Transport Act 2000 Part 6 of TMA Moving contraventions Ability to prepare Adjudication and Court files Ability to undertake adjudication hearings in person and telephone Able to demonstrate understanding and interpretation of the Traffic Regulation Orders Legislation around Littering from a Vehicle Ability to produce complex reports for cabinet reports, press, chief officers and FOI Ability to manage MP ENQUIRIES,SBS, and MYSANDWELL enquiries You should have: Experience within a relevant specialist discipline Experience of working with customers, clients and partners and dealing with sensitive and confidential information Experience of working within budgets or financial management Experience of using Technical IT systems The ability to independently interpret and analyse varied and complex information or situations over the medium term Closing date is 16 December 2025 Interviews scheduled for week commencing 12 January 2026 For an informal discussion, please contact Susan Morris on Email: Susan_Morris@sandwell.gov.uk To apply please click the Apply Now link below.
