About the Role
Working pattern:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 08:45 - 15:00
- Tuesday: 08:45 -16:00
- Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
In this role, you will:
- Support pupils with SLD, PMLD and ASD in class and across the school
- Assist with learning activities, therapy programmes and individual targets (IEPs)
- Take part in enrichment activities, including swimming, PE, community visits and horse riding
- Provide personal and intimate care where required
- Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and independence
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, families and multidisciplinary teams
About you
We're looking for someone who is:
- Calm, patient and resilient, with a positive attitude
- A team player who is motivated to learn and develop
- Experienced in working with children or young people (education, care, youth work, etc.)
- Ideally familiar with supporting pupils with EHCPs or additional needs
Qualifications:
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or equivalent) (desirable)
