Residential Activity Worker with Outdoor Activities
Location
Gloucester – Requires a full UK driving licence.
Salary
£13.95 – £14.55 per hour.
Shift Pattern
39 hours per week: 4 consecutive days on, 7 days off, then 3 consecutive days on, 7 days off.
Key Requirements
* Full, valid UK driver’s licence.
* At least 21 years of age.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Ability to commit to the shift pattern, including sleep‑ins.
About the Role
The role is based in an activity‑based residential home for young people aged 8‑18 with social, emotional and mental health challenges. Residents stay overnight at the centre for the four working days, and accommodation and meals are provided. You will act primarily as a care worker while leading outdoor adventurous activities such as mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking and walking, helping young people build confidence and life skills.

* Build nurturing relationships with young people, providing emotional stability and daily care.
* Lead and facilitate outdoor adventure activities to foster confidence and essential life skills.
* Support personal and social development through structured activities and day‑to‑day care routines.
