As Head of Commercial, you'll be at the forefront of a flagship industrial project, helping to shape the commercial strategy, drive profitable growth, and ensure robust risk and contract management processes are in place.
What You'll Do
Build out, own and lead the commercial function across a major industrial project
Develop and implement commercial strategy to drive sustainable growth, improve margins, and manage risk
Oversee bids, tenders, and pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability
Lead contract negotiations with clients, partners, and suppliers, ensuring legal and commercial alignment
Strengthen governance and commercial controls, enhancing forecasting, cost management, and reporting
Mentor and develop a high-performing commercial team across both project and business functions
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in a senior commercial role within energy, infrastructure, industrial services, or engineering
Strong background in contract management, including NEC, JCT, or bespoke industrial contracts
Demonstrated leadership on large-scale projects, complex service models, or joint ventures
Financial and risk management expertise, with a track record of delivering margin growth and operational efficiency
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level
Degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g. Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, Finance
