We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Maintenance Senior Coordinator to join our client in Gourock.
As a Technical Maintenance Senior Coordinator, you will provide scheduling support across the fleet's overhaul program, manage the Asset Management System (AMS), and support projects as needed.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
* Experience in planning projects and coordinating maintenance activities, both planned and unplanned.
* Experience utilizing Maintenance Management Systems for complex assets.
* Management experience or readiness to assume a management role.
* Proven experience with Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong document, data, and process management skills.
* Ability to collate and report effective management information.
* Experience in commercial ship operations and management; sea-going Marine (Deck) or Engineering background is advantageous.
* Experience with quality management systems, processes, and procedures.
* Experience in complex data management and setting data standards.
JOB DESCRIPTION
* Manage Maintenance Coordinators, including staff appraisals, objectives, personal development plans, 1-2-1s, team development, and meetings.
* Set clear expectations and objectives for team members, conduct appraisals, and support staff development.
* Handle employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
* Oversee maintenance management, including audits, overdue maintenance, and liaising with relevant teams to resolve issues.
* Train new joiners in the use of the AMS.
* Respond to maintenance queries and investigate incidents.
* Analyze maintenance trends and implement improvements.
* Support vessel interaction with the AMS, especially for small vessels.
* Record obsolete equipment in Asset Registers for mitigation actions.
* Coordinate with contractors, classification societies, and flag state agencies on overhaul activities.
* Collaborate with Procurement on overhaul scheduling and asset limitations.
* Act as the departmental point of contact for maintenance, providing advice and escalation as needed.
* Support continuous improvement processes in maintenance management, sharing lessons learned.
REMUNERATION PACKAGE ON OFFER
Salary: £44,394 per annum.
