Position: Cable Installation Operative
Location: Nationwide coverage for works
Salary: £ £18.00 p/h, based on 40 hour week. (33% uplift for nights)

The Role
To carry out all aspects of highway cabling works including cable installation, cable removal, cable labelling, duct proving and testing. All works carried out must comply with business safe systems. You must be able to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues and on your own initiative.
About the Role
All the requirements below are to be performed across the UK
* Installation of various sizes of cable. power, telecommunications cable in both ducted network and surface laid
* Labelling and duct bunging
* General duties
* Work as part of a team
* Compliance to Quality, Health, Safety, Lean, Training and Environment arrangements
You'll work both independently and collaboratively with clients, supervisors, and other team members.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with supervisors/managers to plan and execute tasks
* Deliver high-quality and safe cabling works
* Provide accurate records
* Manage on-site priorities and deadlines
* Maintain a tidy, stocked company vehicle
* Complete all required documentation
* Be flexible regarding working hours and locations
* Understand and follow all RAMS
What We're Looking For
* Winch Trained
* Over 4 years' experience
Candidate Requirements
· Ability to work without constant instruction
· Good Communication skills
· Good time keeping
· Efficient
· Clean Driving License
· Ability to organise yourself and others
· Knowledge of the Highways Sector [preferable]
