About The Role
As a Break support worker, you'll work hands-on daily with young people in our children’s home. Your first year will focus on building relationships, planning trips and activities, and learning skills to support young people with communication difficulties. Every milestone celebrated here is treasured, and while not every day will be easy, you'll feel proud of your impact.
You should be an excellent team player, warm, caring, calm, and resilient to handle complex emotional and behavioral needs. You must complete an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare within 24 months, fully funded by Break, with support from our training team. A full, valid manual driving license is required. Shifts will be part of your schedule.
