Overview
Teacher of History. Full-time or part-time considered. Permanent position. Suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential).
* Bring history alive through creative, well-structured teaching that builds curiosity and critical thinking.
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of the national curriculum and plan for progress across all abilities.
* Use assessment and data effectively to inform planning and ensure excellent student progress.
* Build positive relationships with pupils, promoting respect, responsibility, and a love of learning.
* Commit to inclusive teaching so all students can access and succeed in history.
* Be open to feedback and professional development as part of a reflective, ambitious team.
* Be a team player who contributes to the wider life and ethos of the school community.
