About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Social Science or Humanities to join a forward-thinking and supportive school for a fixed-term maternity cover starting in September 2025.
The successful candidate will play a key role within the faculty, contributing to outstanding teaching and learning practices and supporting the ongoing development of a well-sequenced and engaging curriculum. The position includes the potential for a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) for the right candidate.
You will have the opportunity to:
* Collaborate with faculty leaders on curriculum design and delivery.
* Coach colleagues through deliberate practice to raise the quality of teaching.
* Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Uphold and promote the values and ethos of the school community.
* Act as a form tutor and support the holistic development of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
