We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team based in Milton Keynes on a temp to perm basis. The successful candidate will manage Term Service Contract (TSC), core, and task order works, ensuring accurate commercial management throughout the contract lifecycle. You will be responsible for managing subcontract accounts collaboratively to ensure timely payment notifications and agreement of final accounts. Using your expertise in method of measurement principles, you will accurately measure works from as-built information and site records. Your role will include pricing works and Compensation Events, attending progress meetings with clients, supply chain partners, and internal colleagues, and working closely with operations and external supply chain teams to provide evidence supporting valuations and resolving client queries. You will maintain awareness of risks and opportunities throughout the contract and collaborate with the commercial team to manage these effectively. A key part of the role is the administration of NEC4 TSC contracts with options A, C, and E, utilising CEMAR software to support contract management and reporting. The role requires the ability to work independently, escalate issues appropriately, and communicate effectively with clients and supply chain partners. Key Responsibilities Manage Term Service Contract, core, and task order works commercially Proactively manage subcontract accounts to ensure timely payment notifications and final account agreement Apply method of measurement principles for accurate measurement of works from site records and as-built information Price works and Compensation Events accurately using first principles Attend progress meetings with clients, supply chain, and internal teams Collaborate with operations and supply chain to support valuations and resolve queries Identify and manage contract risks and opportunities with the commercial team Administer NEC4 TSC contracts (options A, C & E) using CEMAR software Skills Minimum HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience) NEC4 contract knowledge (options A, C & E) - essential Experience managing valuations, payment applications, and variations Strong understanding of pricing works using first principles Subcontract account management experience Ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately Excellent communication and collaborative skills with clients and supply chain Attention to detail and strong organisational skills Proficient in Excel for data analysis Team player with a proactive approach Software/Tools CEMAR (desirable) Microsoft Excel Certifications & Standards Minimum HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience) Please send CVs to
