Security Clearance: SC Clearance required (must be willing to obtain DV Clearance)
About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Engineer to join our client on a long-term project based in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional with an electrical background to work within a highly regulated and rewarding environment.
As a Construction Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the installation, modification, maintenance, repair, testing, and trials of various systems. You’ll be part of a dedicated team, ensuring project milestones are achieved safely and efficiently.
Key Requirements:
* Security Clearance: Minimum SC Clearance is essential; candidates must be willing to undergo DV Clearance.
* Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
* CSCS Gold Card
* Background:
* Must be a qualified Electrician who has moved into a Project Engineer role
* Previous experience within the nuclear sector is highly desirable
Desirable Skills & Certifications:
* Membership of an appropriate technical/professional body
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate
This role offers the opportunity to work on site, on complex and challenging construction projects in a highly regulated industry sector. The working pattern is a 9 day fortnight working 75 hours over a two week period.
