Analytics Platform Engineer

What You’ll Do
* Build, deploy, and maintain cloud-based environments in GCP.
* Use Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools to manage infrastructure.
* Work collaboratively with data engineers on infrastructure issues such as permissions, accounts, setup, and architecture.
* Support and develop data models and data products in DBT.
* Build and maintain DBT environments for other teams, and provide training on DBT best practices.
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, including tools like SQLFluff and Slim CI.
* Maintain product catalogues, documentation, and data lineage.
* Work with visualization developers to align Looker with data modelling and governance processes.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with Terraform or other IAC tools.
* Experience building and deploying environments or tooling in GCP.
* Experience in a platform team within an analytics/data focus (nice to have).
* Knowledge of data governance (nice to have).
* Experience with tools like Apache Airflow, DBT, GitLab/GitHub, and BigQuery.
* Strong SQL skills; Python experience is a bonus.
* Familiarity with YAML and Jinja.
* Attention to detail and strong commitment to data quality.
* Experience working in high data volume environments.
* Cloud environment experience, preferably GCP.
