The Opportunity
We’re seeking an entrepreneurial Head of Design / Design Lead to establish and grow Oxivity Consulting's design business. This is a rare opportunity to shape a new business arm with immediate, high-profile project engagement.
Our first major design commission is the design and integration of power systems for buildings - ensuring adequate and efficient distribution of power to each floor and workspace. This project will commence with a remote team of approximately 3–5 professionals, which the successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, leading, and developing.
Beyond this commission, the role will focus on diversifying Oxivity Consultings design offering - expanding into multidisciplinary design delivery across Infrastructure and Real Estate and securing long-term project streams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the delivery of the power design project.
* Build and mentor a multidisciplinary design team.
* Shape and implement Oxivity Consulting's design strategy and technical standards.
* Engage with clients and stakeholders to expand design capabilities across sectors.
* Support business development initiatives and bid processes for future design commissions.
About You
* Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) with extensive experience in construction - ideally electrical design for buildings or infrastructure.
* Proven track record in leading design teams and delivering major design projects.
* Strong technical knowledge of building power systems, compliance standards, and integration within wider design teams.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to grow a new service line from inception.
* Collaborative, client-focused and commercially astute.

Package
* Package negotiable based on experience. Package will include £6.5k car allowance, healthcare for you and your direct family, above market pension contribution and opportunity for partnership based on achieving growth targets.
