Job title: Housekeeper/General Assistant Salary: 12.50 GBP p/hr Location: Chipping, Lancashire Accommodation provided: Yes, on an all-inclusive basis in self-contained caravan Charge for accommodation: 50 GBP per week Type of contract: Permanent Workplace description: This 4-star hotel has luxury bedrooms and a stylish restaurant with fine views of the award-winning gardens. The hotel is one of Lancashire’s finest, private hotels and is only 20 minutes from the M6 motorway and 7.5 miles from Clitheroe. The restaurant and conservatory serve good cuisine with produce from the hotel's kitchen garden. There is also an on-site bakery for fresh bread, pies and cakes. Housekeeper main duties and responsibilities: Maintaining and cleaning all public areas in the hotel, bar and restaurants. Cleaning all rooms to a high standard ensuring any issues are forwarded to the relevant department. Helping to achieve the highest levels of guest satisfaction in all areas with the rest of the team. You will be required to 5 days out of 7 including weekends, usual hours 8am-4pm but may vary at busy times. Applicants should be flexible with working hours and must be available at weekends. For the right candidate development opportunities are available, training in the hospitality industry also offered as part of our development programme. F&B Assistant main duties and responsibilities: As a member of the Food and Beverage team, you will ensure that all guests are served to the company standard in the Restaurant / Bar / Lounge areas. You will ensure that the highest standards of hospitality and welcome are demonstrated at all times within all food and beverage areas. You will ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained and assist in conference and banqueting where required. Essential criteria: A stable background is essential. The ideal candidates will also have experience of working in a very hands-on role for previous employers in a hotel. Prior housekeeping & cleaning experience in a hotel is most advantageous.
