About the Role
As Finance Assistant, you\'ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day finance operations, and contributing to process improvements. You\'ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth financial work-flows and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain financial systems, including the Penair accounting platform
* Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
* Manage accounts payable and receivable
* Process client payments via bank transfer, card, and other methods
* Respond to supplier queries and ensure prompt resolution
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
* Monitor cash flow and support financial planning
* Collaborate with colleagues across departments to provide financial insights
* Contribute to system and process improvements
* Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks and finance projects
What We\'re Looking For
* Previous experience in finance or administration, ideally within the travel industry, but not essential
* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Confident using financial systems and general software
* Organised, enthusiastic, and customer-focused
