The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of Olympus Power’s new Harrogate office as we continue expanding our national commercial renewable energy operations.
Located within Royal House, a premium Grade II listed workspace directly opposite The Stray, the new office combines modern collaborative working with a professional and inspiring environment in the heart of Harrogate. With excellent rail links, premium meeting facilities and a growing team culture, the office will play a key role in Olympus Power’s next stage of growth.
We are looking for confident and relationship-focused Business Development Managers who can identify and secure high-value commercial opportunities while building strong long-term client partnerships.
You will be engaging with senior decision-makers across medium and large organisations, helping businesses understand how renewable energy infrastructure can support both commercial performance and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing new business opportunities across commercial and industrial sectors
* Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and closure
* Leading consultative discussions with senior stakeholders including CEOs, CFOs, COOs and Directors
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships and strategic partnerships
* Producing tailored commercial proposals with ROI and energy-saving insights
* Working collaboratively with internal technical, project delivery and finance teams
* Attending networking events, conferences and industry functions
* Monitoring market trends, energy developments and competitor activity
What We’re Looking for
* An ambitious and tenacious sales professional with drive to close deals
* Proven track record of commercial sales in the renewables sector
* Confidence to present energy and financial models
* Understanding of products, and interplay between energy technologies and system design drawings
* Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
* Commercially aware with a consultative sales mindset
* Motivated, proactive and target-driven
* Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
