Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join one of our Manufacturing clients in the Leeds area.
Role: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
Location: Otley
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
Shifts:
* Week 1: Work 4 consecutive night shifts, followed by 3 days off.
* Week 2: Work 3 consecutive day shifts, have 1 day off, and then work 3 consecutive night shifts.
* Week 3: Have 3 days off, followed by 4 consecutive day shifts.
* Week 4: Have 7 consecutive days off.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment.
* Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of machinery.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Proficient in using hand and power tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Relevant mechanical engineering or technical qualification is preferred.
