About Us

Amplify Education is a newly formed multi-academy trust of 22 schools in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset, created through the thoughtful and planned merger of TiLA and CST. A bold voice for Bristol, we build belief in every young person, expand opportunities, nurture potential and strengthen citizenship. If you’re looking for a Trust that is ambitious, reflective and collaborative, Amplify Education could be the perfect place for you.

We invite you to join our team at Bristol Cathedral Choir School. We exist to provide a world-class education for the children of Bristol so that they leave with a deep understanding of the world around them. The school is a highly oversubscribed state cathedral choir school with a rich history and a Christian ethos. It is a music school, educating choristers for Bristol Cathedral for the past 880 years and offers an enhanced and rich musical experience for all. The school provides a traditional academic curriculum to its students, regardless of their background or ability, and emphasises the teaching of Powerful Knowledge.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Data Assistant to join our supportive and efficient team as soon as possible. In a typical week, you will maintain and update our Management Information System (MIS), input and check student data for accuracy, support assessment data collection cycles, and produce routine reports on attainment. You will also assist with census returns, respond to staff data queries, and ensure compliance with data protection procedures.

You will have developed strong administrative skills and confidence working with spreadsheets and databases through your career or personal experience. You will bring excellent attention to detail and a reliable, methodical approach. You will likely be skilled in manipulating and analysing data, enjoy problem‑solving, and possess strong ICT, literacy and numeracy skills.
