Our work includes both home-based care and social outings, such as singing clubs, lunches, and games groups, alongside essential personal care and daily living support in clients’ homes. Role Overview As a Care Assistant/Support Worker with S&S Care, you will: * Provide personal care and daily living support in clients’ own homes, including washing, dressing, and meal preparation. * Support clients with social activities, including community outings such as singing clubs, lunches, and game clubs. * Promote independence, dignity, and well-being at all times. * Build positive and trusting relationships with clients and their families. * Maintain accurate records and follow care plans to ensure the highest standards of care. Requirements ✔ Must drive – you will be visiting clients in their own homes and supporting them with community outings. ✔ Clean DBS – if you don’t already have one, we can apply for you. ✔ Flexibility – must be able to work varied shifts, including weekend on / weekend off on a rota basis. ✔ A caring, compassionate, and reliable nature with good communication skills. ✔ Ability to work independently as well as part of a supportive team. ✔ Previous care experience is desirable but not essential—full training can be provided.
