As a Consultant Neurologist, you will:
* Deliver high-quality general neurology services across Somerset
* Develop and lead a subspecialty service in your area of expertise
* Provide outpatient care across multiple hospital sites
* Take part in inpatient neurology care at Musgrove Park Hospital, including ward referrals
* Work closely with a diverse MDT to deliver seamless patient care
* Engage in teaching, research, and clinical trials supported by the Clinical Research Network
* Participate in the duty neurologist rota, ensuring a dedicated inpatient focus with no outpatient clinics scheduled during duty weeks
* Engage specialist MDT including headache practitioners, epilepsy nurse specialists, MS nurse specialists, neuro‑pharmacist, consultant physiotherapist, and clinical psychologists
* Provide Neurosurgery & interventional neuroradiology at Southmead Hospital, Bristol Virtual neuroradiology MDT & weekly neurology academic meetings
* Have full secretarial, IT, and office support, with dedicated on-site office space (potentially shared with another consultant)
