Customer service clerk (6 month fixed term)

Offer description

Role Profile:

1. Working within a busy office in the Customer Service team you will report into the Customer Services First Line Manager and the Admin Manager.
2. Your main duties will consist of processing and answering e-mails/ calls from, internal and external, customers, monitoring 3rd party haulier deliveries and effectively manage investigations through from start to completion.
3. Updating and maintaining live Excel documents with customer queries
4. You will maintain effective relationships with customers, the team and other functions to ensure excellent customer service is achieved
5. You will ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are met and, where possible, exceeded
6. You will help with introducing, implementing and supporting innovative ideas, changes and solutions

Experience & Qualifications:

7. Previous customer service experience preferred.
8. Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management systems) preferred
9. Proficient in MS Office applications. Excel, Outlook
10. Excel knowledge with experience of maintaining fairly complex spreadsheets.
11. Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
12. Excellent communication skills written and verbally
13. Ability to work to deadlines and under own initiative
14. Ability to manage and succeed in a very demanding environment
15. Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage time efficiently in busy periods
