We are seeking an experienced, adaptable, and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a primary mainstream school in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. We pay £89.00 per day for this role.
About the Role:
Working closely with the SENCO and classroom teachers, your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting individual pupils or small groups with learning, behaviour, or emotional needs
2. Assisting with the implementation of EHCP targets and support plans
3. Adapting classroom materials to meet different learning styles and needs
4. Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and independence
5. Providing personal care or mobility support (training provided)
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
* Has experience supporting children or young people with SEND
* Builds strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
* Is calm, reliable, and flexible in responding to daily needs
* Has a positive, pupil-centred approach with clear boundaries
* Works well as part of a team and takes initiative when needed
Desirable Qualifications:
* A relevant Level 2/3 TA or SEN qualification
* Experience with SEND
* Previous experience in an educational or care setting
