Role: Domestic/Housekeeper Assistant Base: Tamarind Hours : 30 hours Salary: £19457.50 We have an exciting opportunity for a Domestic/Housekeeper to work in a dynamic environment providing high quality domestic services within the Tamarind Centre which is an 89 bedded medium secure mental health hospital in the Bordesley Green area of Birmingham. To be responsible for utilising safely mechanical and electrical cleaning equipment following appropriate training as required meeting the above. To be responsible for the collection and safe removal of paper waste within your area/service of work. To provide pantry/kitchen duties including clearing of the dining area and washing up as required. To provide specialist cleaning (barrier/isolation) as required. Responsible for the safe storage and maintenance of appropriate stock and supplies and to ensure that these are available within the designated area/service. It is everyone’s responsibility to be aware of infection control procedures and to carry out relevant training.
